Good design VS successful design

This contemporary twin villa in new Cairo Egypt was meant to separate each villa’s entrance in a way that makes them look as one.

This design started as a brainstorming idea for the owner to open up to new styles and fortunately, it got approved. The owner wanted to have a traditional classic look since all near villas had a traditional look, so we wanted to offer them a different perspective from what he was used to seeing nearby.

We choose a bold form and kept the colors and texture simple and clean, mixing the white with the wooden cladding.

This particular design didn’t mean to offer less or more elements, its only goal was to present the owner with a new style. this project was a demonstration that a good design may not be the ultimate approach, a successful design on the other hand is the one that makes people think differently and open their minds to new perspectives.
